How Cybill Was Born
The frustration was real.
Darren Nash spent over 20 years in financial technology, building tools for institutions. He watched banks and hedge funds use sophisticated AI to identify trading patterns, predict outcomes, and make millions.
Then he started trading himself. And realized retail traders had... spreadsheets. Basic charts. Generic "advice" that applied to nobody.
The moment everything changed: After a brutal losing streak, Darren manually analyzed 200 of his own trades. The pattern was obvious - he was revenge trading after every loss, doubling position sizes when emotional. He'd made the same mistake 47 times in 3 months.
"If I can't see my own patterns," he thought, "how can any trader?"
That night, from his apartment in Sydney, he started building Cybill. Not another trading journal. Not another analytics tool. An AI coach that would catch the mistakes traders make when they're too emotional, too confident, or too tired to see them.
