Understanding the Scores

Each stock gets a score from 0–100 based on technical indicators. Here's exactly how it's calculated.

Score components

  • RSI between 40–65: +25 points (ideal buy zone — not overbought or oversold)
  • MACD above signal: +25 points
  • Price above MA20: +20 points (uptrend confirmation)
  • Daily gain above 0.5%: +15 points
  • Volume at least 1.3× the prior 20-bar average: +15 points where volume is available
  • Scores total the available criteria; missing volume is identified in the results

Signal ratings

  • High alignment: Score 75+ — more technical criteria match
  • Moderate alignment: Score 50–74 — some technical criteria match
  • Low alignment: Score below 50 — fewer technical criteria match
  • Technical scores describe completed daily bars and are not trade instructions

Your Personal History Alerts

This is what makes Cybill AI's screener different — it cross-references every result against your actual trades.

Badge meanings

  • 🟢 Green badge: Win rate 60%+ and positive total P&L on this stock — repeat this!
  • 🔴 Red badge: Win rate under 40% or heavy losses on this stock — avoid even if score is high
  • 🔵 Blue badge: You've traded this before with mixed/neutral performance — proceed carefully
  • Shows exact win rate percentage from your trading history
  • Displays total P&L you've made or lost on this specific symbol
  • Shows trade count so you know how statistically significant the badge is

Best Practices

Get the most signal and least noise from the screener.

How to use it effectively

  • Run screener during market hours for most accurate real-time data
  • Focus on STRONG BUY signals (75+) as your primary candidates
  • Always check your personal history badge before entering any trade
  • Avoid red-badge stocks even if they score highly — your data overrides the algorithm
  • Double down on green-badge opportunities that also score 75+
  • Use the sector filter to stay within your area of expertise
  • Combine screener signals with your own chart analysis — don't trade blind
  • Free market data refreshes daily via Yahoo Finance API

Start screening stocks with your edge

Works best once you have 20+ trades logged — your history makes the screener uniquely yours.
